BuildingShift

BuildingShift — Live architectural perspective correction on iPhone

When you point a camera upward, building verticals converge. BuildingShift corrects perspective in the viewfinder, so you can judge the composition before taking the photo.

Available on the App Store. Requirements and pricing are shown in the current listing.

Compose the corrected image

See the corrected frame in the viewfinder. Instead of discovering the crop after shooting, consider the building lines and final framing together while you are still on location. Leave space around the roof and edges.

Keep the original too

Saving keeps both the original photo and the corrected viewfinder result. Return to the original when you want another crop or prefer the perspective of the scene as captured.

When to use it

Use it for travel architecture, facade compositions, and everyday photographs with straight verticals. Digital correction changes the image boundary; it cannot recover objects outside the frame or hidden details. Leave room for cropping.

Questions before downloading

Do photos need to be uploaded?

Perspective correction runs on your device, without uploading photos or relying on a cloud service.

Is this the same as a tilt-shift lens?

This is digital perspective correction. It changes projection and cropping, but cannot change the camera position or recover parts of a scene that were not captured.

Which devices and prices are supported?

The product is designed for iPhone. Check the current App Store listing below for system requirements, regional availability, and in-app purchase prices.
