FIELD GUIDE / LINKREADY · Capture & communication
Turn a meeting recording into an action list people can confirm
Review speakers, decisions, owners, and dates before converting generated meeting notes into executable work.

Define an action before extracting one
A product review contains ideas, decisions, and tentative dates. “Look at it next week” and “Lin will deliver the result on Friday” carry different commitments. The goal is to distinguish confirmed work from missing information. Obtain participants’ consent to record and check that the audio belongs to the correct meeting.
Build a reviewable draft
- Record in AUV Notes or import the audio, checking its identity and topic.
- Review speaker labels and name familiar speakers only after checking the source.
- Read the structured summary and extracted actions. Verify numbers, negation, dates, and whether a statement was a suggestion or a decision.
- Correct transcription errors and separate candidate actions from questions requiring confirmation.
- Export Markdown, TXT, or PDF for review by the people responsible.
Keep uncertainty visible
“Investigate login errors next week” still needs an owner and a precise deadline. A named person promising Friday results is a candidate action, but confirm which Friday and what result is expected. Do not fill missing fields by inference. Retain a source phrase or context note beside each candidate so reviewers can judge the commitment.
Accept the list through confirmation
Move an action into the execution list after its owner, deliverable, and date are confirmed. Sample one decision, action, and unresolved question against the transcript and recording. Label the exported document with the meeting date, topic, and revision. Maintain subsequent execution updates in the team’s working system.
Automation scope
Speaker differentiation, editable transcripts, structured summaries, action extraction, and several export formats support this process. They do not guarantee identity or commitment interpretation, nor do they prove tasks were assigned. Review noisy or overlapping speech manually. Do not assume automatic integration with an arbitrary task system.
